Taxes and permits?
If you are interested in becoming a dealer or want to sell
anything in the Artist's Alley, you must have seller's permit from the
California Board of Equalization. You can download the application packet in Adobe PDF form.

You will receive an official response confirmation along with some tax return material.
You will need to have your copy of the official response (with the tax ID number on it) on
file with the dealer's room liaison before you will be allowed to set up.
If you do not have a tax ID when you get to the convention, you will have to go to the BOE
office (in downtown San Diego) to have one processed on the spot before setting up. |
