Art Show:
The ConFurence Art Show is the largest of its kind in the world. This year we
have over <yaddayadda>5,500 sq. feet of space for display and over 400 bidders place
bids on the art. Everyone can join in! We have had many talented artists submit their
works of art for the convention. Basic Art Show space is free. All we ask is you register
for the convention. Read our ConFurence Art Show Rules and
Guidelines to find out how to participate!
Art Auction:
This year, in preparation for the huge amount of art, we've planned out TWO seperate Art
Auctions! Here's how it works: A piece is displayed at the Art Show. If 6 people bid on
the piece for purchase, it automatically gets submitted into the auction. Check the ConFurence Schedule for dates and times.
Artist's Alley:
This is without a doubt one of ConFurence's most popular attractions. Here is the place
where you can finally meet your favorite furry artist and ask for commissions, buy prints,
trade sketchbooks and more more. The Artist Alley works on a first-come, first-serve basis
once the convention starts. If you're an artist and would like to participate, contact
ConFurence for more information or just register for the convention and stop by! - Info
Den of Dealers:
This is another large section of the convention. We have a sold out number of 75 dealers
in this year's Den of Dealers and over 11,800 sq. feet of space. See our In-Fur-Nation page to find out who's

Publisher's Row:
This section features a wide array of publishers, artists, and collectors selling their
goods. It's unique in its own way as it surrounds the entrance to the Den of Dealers.
Dances and Social Events!
The Fursuit Dance:
Ever roam in a conga-line with a rodent or tango with a turtle? Don't look at me like
that! It's possible! Come to the Fursuit Dance and see for yourself. I'm talking dozens of
some of the most popular fursuits and zooters are here at the Fursuit Dance! Last year's
was a blast. Help make it happen again this year. You don't need to fursuit to participate
in one of the zaniest attractions ever. If you ARE a fursuiter and haven't taken part in

Cabaret Fur-Le-Dance
The Purple Nurple Live!
Anyone who's been to the Purple Nurple on FurryMUCK doesn't need an explaination of this
event. ;) And just as it's one of the most popular places on FurryMUCK, the same can be
said of ConFurence's fully RL version. No fantasies here. This is the real deal. The
Purple Nurple comes alive in its loud pumping music, dancing, flamboiant fun.
Club Techno-Fur:
For you Techno lovers out there, this is the one for you.
Presentations:
Costume Presentation / Fursuit Contest:
The spotlight is on you as you strut your stuff down the catwalk, posing for all
the cameras, videocams, and some cheering (some drooling) fans applauding your way in your
new... FURSUIT! Once again, ConFurence brings back the
all-too-popular Costume Presentation and Fursuit Contest. This is the place to show what
you've got!
Tribute to Minerva Mink:
This is a new event that I think it's about time for. This year, we're having a special
presentation in honor of that smart and sexy 'toon, Minerva Mink! I personally don't know
what's in store for those fans who take part in this special event, but I'm sure it'll be
interesting. ;)
Video Theatre:
Once again, ConFurence brings back the 24-hour video/film theatre to watch those rare and
wonderful furry flics that are so damn hard to find in most places, to be frank. I don't
know where these people find some of the films that are shown. Everything from
Animalympics to Kimba the Lion is shown here and more.
Filk Concerts and Contests:
The annual event of fun, music and poetry comes back this year with a whole new line-up of
performers including Windborne, Michael Payne (with Seanan McGuire for a song or two),
Cynthia McQuillin and Dr. Jane Robinson, and Leslie Fish.
History of the Furry Fandom
What's going to be at this? Fursuits, Fanzines, Comics, Portfolios, Posters, Plushies,
Photo Blow-Ups, and other furry stuff, all on display showing how far ths fandom has come
in these last ten years. Definately something to check out while you're here.
Pawfasting Celebration
This is an annual event held at ConFurence just for you and the one that you hold dearest.
Show your mate or your special friend how much you care for them by taking part in this
ceremony within the beautiful surroundings of the hotel's Rose Garden.

A friendly get-together of furs for free ice cream! Registered members only.
Networking
Tigerden Internet Room
Tigerwolf and Tigerden Internet Services will again be providing Internet facilities for
CF10. Facilities will include terminals which can be used to access mucks, irc, telnet,
and remote access to personal mail accounts. Text and limited graphic access to the
world wide web will also be featured. Operating hours for the Internet room will be until
at least midnight for the days of the con, and depending on availabitiy of volunteers to
man the room, may be extended to as long as possible. Be sure to drop by and pay a visit! |
